KAROL G Takes Las Vegas Around the World With Her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour
LAS VEGAS, NV — On August 7, KAROL G transformed Allegiant Stadium into a tropical universe for the Las Vegas stop of her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour. Across six distinct acts and more than 30 songs, the Colombian superstar delivered a stadium production that celebrated the different sounds, emotions, and eras that have shaped her career.
The night began with the help of Elena Rose, who helped opened the show.
The night began with Act I, introducing the audience to the world KAROL G had created. “LATINA FOREVA” opened the set before “Un Gatito Me Llamó,” “OKI DOKI,” “Ta OK!,” “QLONA,” and “S91” established a reggaeton-heavy beginning.
Visually, the scale was enormous. Towering rock buildings covered in flowers stretched across the stage, with staircases, caves, and platforms giving KAROL G and her dancers multiple levels to perform from. Fog poured across the floor while lighting shifted the scenery from fiery oranges and golds to deep blues and purples.
Rather than functioning as a backdrop, the stage became a character in the show.
That became particularly noticeable during Act II. The section moved into the tropical identity of her latest era with “Tropicoqueta,” “Papasito,” and “Amiga Mía,” followed by a mariachi. “Ese Hombre Es Malo” and “MAMIII” closed the act.
The production surrounding these songs was among the night's most surprising. KAROL G appeared among oversized conga drums, surrounded by warm golden light and rolling fog, while dancers filled the different levels of the rocky set. The imagery made the performance feel less like a traditional stadium concert and more like a musical unfolding inside its own fictional world.
Act III, shifted the atmosphere again. “Te Llevas Tú,” “Alguien Que Te Amaba,” “Verano Rosa,” “Si Lo Ven,” and “El Barco” brought a more emotional side of KAROL G to the forefront. The more peaceful moments provided an important contrast to the scale of everything surrounding her, occasionally leaving her nearly alone beneath a spotlight inside the massive stadium.
Act IV centered around Ivonny, the colorful character associated with the Tropicoqueta era, with “Ivonny Bonita” and “Pineapple” leaning completely into the show's tropical world.
The concert then moved to Stage B for Act V, bringing KAROL G physically closer to another section of the stadium. “Gatúbela” opened the act before a dance mix and fan favorites including “Amargura,” “Tu Perfume,” “Dile Luna,” “Bandida Entrenada,” and “Ojos Ferrari.”
By this point, the show had traveled through several versions of KAROL G: the reggaeton star, the romantic, the performer embracing traditional Latin sounds, and the colorful character at the center of Tropicoqueta.
Act VI began with a celebration of Latin sounds and culture before moving into some of the biggest songs of her career. “BICHOTA” and “TUSA” immediately connected the stadium to the era that helped propel KAROL G into global superstardom, while “Coleccionando Heridas” and “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” represented where her music has traveled since.
And then came “PROVENZA.”
Closing the night with a remix of one of her defining songs felt fitting for a concert centered around movement, transformation, and revisiting the different places her career has taken her.
