The show Currents and ERRA put on last night at The Ritz Ybor in Tampa, Fl was anything but silent! If you aren’t already familiar with these two bands then you definitely are missing out on some amazing Metalcore. It was only the 4th night of “The Silence Follows Tour" but it was such a great co-headlining time!
The first headliner was ERRA, a band that has been around for some time but definitely still brings the heat with their absolutely incredible breakdowns. With releasing Silence Outlives The Earth just days before, their show included plenty of new songs mixed with some legendary throwbacks. ERRA started with the song gore of being, which really got the crowd hyped up as it is one of their heavier songs but also has a nice groove. By the end of their set, the crowd was beyond feral and ready to continue rocking out with Currents.
Currents did an excellent job closing out the night. The energy from the crowd was electric and the way everyone sang along to so many songs, you could really tell everyone was fully connected in the show!
They played a lot of popular songs throughout their set such as So Alone, Remember Me and The Death We Seek. Additionally, new ones that made it were My Severance and Rise & Fall which the crowd absolutely embraced! There were so many times that the band interacted with the crowd, encouraged crowd surfing and circle pits! It was truly an experience that I highly recommend anyone to go as they have a lot of cities to perform in still!
