This past Friday, P!NK headlined Curebound Concert for Cures in San Diego, California! This beautiful & heart filled annual event raises funds for the greater cause of cancer research. Would you like to donate? Follow this link here: https://www.curebound.org/
Curebound CEO Robin Toft started off the event by sharing the purpose in supporting cancer research. It aims for better treatments & in doing so, it will help as many people (every 1 of 2) surpass the difficult battle they're facing. Toft then asked the crowd to hold up their phone light if they are currently battling or have survived cancer. Same with individuals who lost or known of someone with cancer. This moment showcased that all of us from all walks of life face difficult situations, & it is very important to embrace each other & provide positivity for an uplifting & motivational outcome.
Soon after, P!NK retuned to Petco Park just under two years since her last appearance with the Summer Carnival Tour! She ran through the crowd & gave hugs to many fans! Elaine from Temecula & long time P!NK fan says, this was her fourth time seeing P!NK live. She stated, “A lot of her lyrics are not just fun but also very relatable, & her energy is amazing. She literally flies around the stadium during the last song to sing near fans higher up. Most importantly all proceeds from this concert go to a great cause.”
She sang some of her top hits including “Get This Party Started” & “Never Gonna Not Dance Again.” Additionally which was fun to see, she covered “Heartbreaker” by Pat Benatar and “What’s Up” by 4 Non Blondes! You could tell she has a heart of gold & cares deeply about everyone involved the reason for such event!
From P!NK’s live acrobatics to the relatable stories she tells, she is an artist you won’t want to miss live! It was a high energy night of fun with massive support to raise money towards a greater cause. Thank you Hillary & Bonnie for allowing Jampak to be there for a powerful event! Please consider supporting Curebound & their mission to accelerate cancer research into lifesaving cures.
