The Grogans: Bringing Australian Surf Rock to Los Angeles

The Grogans (surf) rocked the Moroccan Lounge crowd on June 6th in Los Angeles, California. This SoCal show, notably far from their home in Melbourne, Australia, was a concert you did not want to miss.
The Grogans promised some old music, some new “Stagger” songs, and everything in-between. Safe to say, this promise was delivered. The Grogans brought Australia to LA with classics such as "Got A Girl" and "Lay Back," then moved on to play some electric hits from their new album.
It’s rare to experience a show where phones are down and hands are up- yet, The Grogans successfully brought back that authentic punk-rock culture with their genre-fluid music, comedic commentary, and iconic mustaches.
After a unanimous cry for an encore, The Grogans ended their Los Angeles show with "Money Will Chase You". Their voices were nearly drowned out by the amplified sound of audience members belting along.
If I may offer one piece of advice, it would be this: next time The Grogans step foot in California to play some music, make sure you’re there to witness it.
